Live Investigation from the Conjuring House Part 1

Horror fans would have most likely watched the movie The Conjuring or at least have heard of it. The movie was based on a true story about the lives of the Perron family who were the occupants of that house from 1970 to 1980. The house is located in the small country town of Harrisville, Rhode Island, USA. Sometimes referred to as the Old Arnold Estate.

The movie may seem largely dramatized with Hollywood effects but according director James Wan, he maintains that the events depicted in the movie actually transpired in real life. The haunting was adapted from the Warren's case files and recordings. Lorraine Warren was consultant to the film claims she didn't let the director take any more dramatic license than was necessary. Ed and Lorraine Warren earned their cred as respected paranormal investigators after their initial investigation of the Amityville hauntings during the 70s.

Fast forward, to current day 2020. The house has new owners -  Cory and Jennifer Heinzen - and according to them,  there are still sinister spirits in their home.

Cory Heinzen has witnessed doors opening, heard footsteps and knocks. He added that he had “a hard time staying there by myself. I don’t have the feeling of anything evil, (but) it’s very busy. You can tell there’s a lot of things going on …”

The house has an illustrious history spanning eight generations during which residents allegedly died by drowning, murder, and hanging, after all. A place with that much negative energy will tend to attract paranormal entities.

For the first time, you can take a peek into the house and watch it live 24/7 for a week from 10th May.

Tickets for this virtual experience are currently going for  $19.99. You can get yours here. Part of the ticket sales will go to three charities providing COVID-19 relief: World Central Kitchen, the Gary Sinise Foundation, and GlobalGiving. There are some sites streaming for free, but I would encourage you to part with that money for a good cause.

In the Part 2 of this article, I'm going to talk a bit about how paranormal investigation is usually done. Watching a 8- hour lockdown in the house is not going to be as exciting as an episode of Ghost Adventurers for sure. So what actually takes place during investigations? Supernatural Confessions will share how we usually run ours.
