About Supernatural Confessions
Supernatural Confessions is a platform founded by Eugene Tay for people to share their supernatural experiences in a community that does not ridicule them. We discuss themes that are not covered in the modern mainstream narrative. We believe that science don't have all the answers and that it is not our position to prove or disprove any stories. We just tell them as they are; you, the readers, decide for yourself how you would like to be entertained.
Supernatural Confessions is entirely self-funded and supported by members of the community towards a common vision - to provide a safe environment for people to broaden their perspective about the things that science cannot yet explain.

ORIGINSSupernatural Confessions began from a book written and published by Eugene Tay in 2015 based on his personal experiences that took place over a two year period. The book became an accidental success and that seeded the formation of the community via Must Be the Hantu private group on Facebook.
The group was set up for paranormal survivors and only that who had experiences could join the group and talk about it. Through the sharing sessions, the community learned from each other and, in their individual ways, found their own answers to their questions. The YouTube and Podcast channel came shortly after. It began with interviewing of spiritual practitioners of various religious backgrounds. The purpose was to document and spread the knowledge of a world that's a part of our culture and heritage, but yet avoided in mainstream discussion. Initially, interviews were conducted with an iPhone 5s placed close to the interviewee's mouth. Sound quality was terrible. The next upgrade was a cabled lapel microphone, and a flimsy phone-camera tripod. Supernatural Confessions's first co-host was Tim Oh, an old friend of Eugene Tay since they were in early twenties. Tim was also interested in topics of the supernatural and a professional Radio DJ. With Tim's involvement, Supernatural Confessions production quality had a massive makeover. A few months later, the entire world was locked indoors due to the COVID pandemic. |

THE PURPOSE
"Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil."
To relegate the supernatural as taboo because it defies logical construct, is the bed for superstitions and religious controversies to flower, They add a veil of smoke and mirrors, blinding us further from the truth. To reject what our 5 senses cannot perceive is as good as saying thoughts don't exist. When these unseen entities share our space, there's no denying their influence on us, in some cases as you will come to learn about here, a matter of life and death. For us, getting wise is imperative and starts with speaking up. So I did that, in the book - Supernatural Confessions.
My personal account broke the dam. Readers chimed in with their encounters of the 3rd kind, assuring me I was not alone. This time, I found the love and support that had eluded me in time of ordeal. This was the impetus for Must Be The Hantu, a private Facebook community where confessions are exchanged amongst the 50k ++ members and counting.
Hantus don't discriminate. People from all walks of life, celebrities and religious backgrounds included, have had their scare. This led to me documenting hundreds of confessions, which heralded the start of Supernatural Confessions, on YouTube.
That's not all. Special guests with illuminating takes chime in on Friday Night Live, a weekly podcast. Helmed by Jonathan Lim and I, it is at its 40th episode and going on strong.
Like hantus, I believe everyone deserves a supernatural experience. Those who've never had one or yearn for more can meet Jon Lim and I, in the flesh, touring ghostly pit stops at the infamous Old Changi Hospital. We are all yours for a lovely 3 hours, sharing gory tales and imparting best practices (including respect for the dead). Ghost-hunting is taken up a notch as an official cultural activity with tickets for purchase on Klook.
GROWTH OF SC
Supernatural Confessions has evolved to feature never before seen footages of occult practitioners conducting rituals, why they do what they do, supernatural targeted solutions (that actually work) and exploration of haunted sites with interested ghost hunters like yourself. Indicate your interest to join me.
SC can never be what it is today without those who bare their hearts. I am in the process of honoring the thousands of confessions with their own space on the SC website, ensuring their horrifying experiences are never in vain, to forever live on. If you or someone you know has a story, share it here.
To date, the bulk of Supernatural Confessions is managed by me; the above + social media arms (FB, Instagram, Tik Tok) + unglamorous, backend tasks. In 2022, my career came to a crossroads (of course I had a full time job!) and I bravely chose SC to give my undivided attention (fingers crossed).
SC'S NEXT PHASE OF DEVELOPMENT.
To continue the work I do and do it better, SC has to expand its operations, ie. get more hands in, which equates to higher running costs.
As you know, SC is paid according to the count of website visitors with Google Adsense and views on its YouTube videos, within a stated time period. If you like what I do, you can help in SC's expansion at no cost to you, but your help gets me paid with Ad dollars. Ad dollars are measly so I need a lot of your support.
1. DO share SC's YouTube videos, website, Facebook, Facebook Private Group, Instagram, Tik Tok with your circles.
2. DO go to these channels as they all feature different content, until SC can finally consolidate and centralise them into ONE platform, here.
3. DO check in often on all platforms as new material is added multiple times a week.
4. DO comment. Let us know your likes, and dislikes. Both ways, SC is motivated to do better!
5. Or simply check in on these platforms to ADD onto the number of clicks! The more clicks SC gets, the more SC is paid, the better its ability to expand.
You can also offer me a cup of kopi as a patreon of SC.
SC does have a shop. Check it out here.
Collaborations with SC? Let’s discuss. Drop me a mail or WhatsApp.
Again, SC is for you to share about your brush in with the supernatural and to do so without judgment. Without you, there is no SC. Submit your confession here.
Ever grateful for your support.
Love, Eugene.

Frequently Asked Questions
ARE THESE STORIES REAL?
The stories that we write are based on our personal experiences. Some stories are sent to us by Confessors with nothing to gain from fabricating a story. We give these stories the benefit of the doubt and accept them as they are. Stories are edited for narrative purposes.
i THINK i MIGHT NEED SPIRITUAL HELP. cAN YOU HELP ME?
We will not be able to help you directly. However, we are associated with the local council of spiritual practitioners and will be able to direct you to someone whom we trust.
i THINK MY HOME IS HAUNTED, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
You can do a simple test by putting a lime in a glass of water at each corner of the affected rooms. In the mean time, record every strange occurrence that you encounter. Take note of the time and location. Photographs and videos would be very helpful. Observe what becomes of the lime and record your findings as well. Send your journal over to us and we'll get in touch with you.
wHAT RELIGION IS THIS?
It's not a religion. We explore the lore and culture of various practices. Some of them could delve into religions but only for the purpose of describing the origins of the practice. Having more knowledge will definitely cause you to reflect on your own beliefs, but the content herein does not compare one religion over another.
wHAT DOES THE SUPERNATURAL CONFESSIONS LOGO MEAN? iS IT SATANIC?
Nope. It's not satanic. It is derived from sacred geometry and Elder Futhark runes. You can read the explanation here - https://www.supernaturalconfessions.com/sclogo.html
hOW WAS SUPERNATURAL CONFESSIONS FOUNDED?
Supernatural Confessions was founded by Eugene Tay. It started in 2014 when Eugene begun working on the first book in this series as a way to find closure to his own supernatural experiences. He spent two years battling the supernatural and was dragged into a world people don't talk about. These are the stuff you don't find detailed online because people with real stories don't share it with the world. After the book was published, Eugene received emails and calls from strangers who confessed that they too had personal encounters but had no one to turn to. Supernatural Confessions became a safe haven for survivors of supernatural encounters to find support among each other.
