There have been many stories surrounding the Pasir Ris Suicide Tower. Many of these Urban Legends have evolved into multiple variations since the late 80s until we can't really tell fact from fiction anymore; but such is the nature and thrill of ghost stories that keeps our imagination going.

Budding investigators have attempted to gather evidence of haunting and many claimed that it is one of the easiest spots to elicit a paranormal response. Personally, I have been a witness to multiple events in this location that defies logic. I am as strong a believer as there are others who are as strong a skeptic. This experiment that we have conducted is perfect in highlighting that dichotomy.
Just because someone is fortunate enough to not experience any haunting doesn't mean that the place isn't haunted.
In this two-part video, we attempt to record experiences from multiple perspectives - A psychic, four commoners, and one spiritual practitioner. Without the use of fancy western-influenced gadgets, what can each of these people sense when tasked to sit alone in what is reputed to be one of Singapore's most haunted location?

The results are varied and interesting. Whether you believe in ghosts or not, the psychology of fear fueled by horror stories and odd sounds in the night can spur our imagination to see and feel things that may not be there.... or are they?
The 7 Ghosts of Pasir Ris Suicide Tower and other Urban Legends (Part 1 of 2)

00:00 - 06:06 - Psychic's Confession
A psychic with a macabre background confesses to feeling the pain and suffering of 7 ghosts lingering in the area. She also pinpoint a spot where a girl who had hung herself. Two of the candidates doing their isolation who were not privy to that information prior reported very strong activity in that same area. Coincidence or paranormal?

06:07 - end - Urban Legends
Investigator-in-training Shyam shares the urban legends surrounding this place. During his interview, he met a family who confessed that a relative had taken his life in Pasir Ris park, proving that not every suicide case is reported in mainstream news.
Spending a Night at the Suicide Tower of Pasir Ris. (Part 2 of 2)

00:14 - 02:45 - Pre-Isolation Walkthrough
Guru Murali walks the ground in preparation for the candidates' isolation which is conducted over different days and time. Guru Murali who is usually very conservative when expressing his feelings about a place makes it an exception this time round.

02:45 - 12:17 - Candidates' Isolation
Candidates make their way through the mangrove swamp in darkness and perform their isolation in the haunted tower. Their task is to observe their surroundings and report what they hear, see and feel.

Candidate 1 - Shyam
Shyam is a skeptic who wants to be proven wrong. Not one who falls for gimmicks or hearsay easily, he puts himself to the test and challenges the entities to make themselves known to him.

Candidate 2 - Kurtesy
The only female of the group and probably more attuned to the spiritual world, Kurtesy was able to pin point specific spots that were also highlighted by Guru Murali.

Candidate 3 - Anba
It was rather unfortunate for Anba that his session was disrupted by a group of torchlight enthusiasts who had their outing out at the area. There were simply too much light and noise to conduct a proper experiment.

Candidate 4 - Eugene Au
Eugene Au brought incense to appease/attract the spirits, flour to capture footprints, and some basic paranormal equipment to capture evidence. He had the most active experience of all with distinct cold spots, disembodied voices and even a camera tripod knocking itself over.
12:17 - 15:17 - Guru Murali Cleanse the Place
Guru Murali chanted a prayer to ease the lingering spirits towards the light. Does this mean the place is no longer haunted? Unlikely. Prayers help to bring whichever entity that is present at that time to the light but in a public area, and one that is isolated at the edge of a mangrove swamp, there will be other spirits to take its place in time to come.

Investigating Paranormal Activities inĀ an Abandoned Bungalow in SingaporeĀ

Abandoned house sits alone on a large plot of land.
When it comes to haunted locations in Singapore, many thrill seekers lament that there just isn’t any more places left in Singapore to explore.

Two of the famous houses of the 90s - Red House in Pasir Ris and Matilda House in Ponggol have been converted to a pre-school and condo respectively. The other hot spots have been claimed by authorities and demarcated as “out of bounds or else...” territory.

That is only half the truth.

If you get your source of horror intel from lifestyle sites like Goodyfeed, Mothership and MustShareNews, you probably only get the stories that are rehashed to death, especially during the 7th month and Halloween time of the year.

As a page that calls itself supernatural CONFESSIONS we pride ourselves on bringing you hushed secrets that isn't yet available on mainstream news sites. And that is why we dig into out network to speak with, and snuggle up close to, people who have made a career/passion out of investigating haunted places.

These haunted places are not made public because we don’t want weekend thrill seekers, druggies, and couples with macabre sexual fetishes descending upon the place like it's a budget version of Halloween Horror Nights.
Featuring MC Zee and his team of paranormal investigators from Paranormal Encounter SG, consisting of Joe Johanis (AV Specialist), Nizam (Photo/Video Specialist) and 'Nonya' Rinie (Admin).

They are old guards on the scenes who were inspired as youths by cartoons like Ghostbusters and Scooby Doo. Paranormal Encounter SG produces live videos, and recently stories from Indonesia, catering predominately to the malay community. While you don’t really need translation to enjoy the photos and videos, you will miss out on and what’s being discussed in the comments and chilling tales written in Bahasa.

They invited Supernatural Confessions to observe their investigation and we sent Syed Wilson to meet the team at around midnight. This is his report:
Location: Confidential, Date: 30th August, Time: 00:00 Hrs

The place is huge from the outside; we estimated the value of the land to be about SGD20 million. It has a large courtyard, what looks like a stable that can hold up to 5 horses, and no pesky next door neighbour along the street to have to make small talk with.

The bungalow have three stories but the roof have collapsed from weathering and the third floor looks more like a mini jungle. We didn’t think it was safe to be wading knee deep through vegetation without clear visuals.

There were many entrances to the first level but we decided to take the scenic route and go by the back door where a narrow spiral staircase led to the floors above.
The place looked much larger from the outside. Inside, the place felt like a maze. There are many doorways leading to other rooms that connected to even more rooms; from the built-in furniture you can guess what purpose the rooms served before it was abandoned to its current state.

MC Zee reckoned this place might be abandoned for more than 20 years. The family probably still owns the rights to the land but for some reason never sold it and never maintained it.
The stairs to the second floor looks ominous and in the shadows where the lights don’t touch, you can feel that there are entities in this place watching us.

Joe said that when they came here for recce the week before, they heard the sound of a chair getting dragged across the floor board above. When they went up to check, the chair which was initially facing the wall, had moved itself to face a corner.

In Indonesia belief, when a chair faces the corner it means that the place is haunted.

And that’s where we are about to head towards.
We moved cautiously up where the wooden floorboards are badly decomposed. Part of the ceiling have have collapsed showing the hollow interior of the false ceiling. At this stage, my mind is telling me that at any moment now, the boy from Ju-On will peek out of a corner to curse us.

The second floor was easier to navigate with one main living room area surrounded by smaller rooms. The team caught something on their Kinect system and picked that spot as the first point for tonight’s investigation.
There's a lone leather chair in the middle of what seems to be the second floor living room area. They team managed to capture a figure sitting down on the chair using the kinect device and tried to make contact. The energy vortex in this place is more palpable, while it didn't feel malicious, the vibration of the room is quite apparent.

[To be continued...]

Editor's Note: The team ended their investigation at around 5am, a few hours before this article was written. We'll need take some time over the week to review the footage and catch up with the Paranormal Encounter SG team to interview them on their experiences. Follow our Facebook Page to get fresh updates.
