Location: Yio Chu Kang There’s a house walking distance to a cemetery that’s haunted as hell. I know because I lived there for almost two years. People living in this neighbourhood would know which house I’m referring to. It’s been haunted for some time, and it has changed hands many times now.
I managed to sell it off some time in 2015, but what I know is that it changed hands one other time and the most recent owner has been living there for 3 to 4 years. The longest by far. So maybe they either managed to clear the house or they are not affected by it. What I can tell you, happened to me and my family, and the ones before me. We tried bringing different kinds of priests to the house. At first all okay, the hauntings reduced, but then a few weeks later, the haunting will return. The first accident happened to my contractor. One of the workers was doing reno work when he fell off the ladder and directly onto a wood cutting saw. The second was my wife. She was putting up the family photos on the wall when one heavy frame fell off the wall, cracked the glass and a large shard severed her toe. Fortunately we managed to stitch it back. At this point, there’s still nothing to be alarmed about. Yes; the accidents are brutal but they all seem innocent enough. By the time the third accident happened, we started getting paranoid. My wife said that is probably because we haven’t conducted a housewarming party or cleaning ritual. That’s why bad luck. At this point it was still a “maybe” for us. We didn’t think it was that bad until the third, fourth and fifth incidents. But when bad luck, it was bad luck all the way. Relationship issues start to show. My wife would be very snappish. My dog would be uncharacteristically aggressive. The maid had her hand bitten by our dog when one evening he just went crazy. She knew him well, and never had any prior mishaps. What got the dog so triggered I have no idea. Myself, I started staying back in the office late to avoid coming home. One of the other common occurrences, and I’m not sure if this is connected but I will tell you anyway and you can be the judge of that. For some reason, birds like to fly into my house window and kill themselves. Unprecedented number. One weekend when I was walking the dog and bumped into my next door neighbor. I asked her if she get dead birds too. She said no, but immediately guessed which unit I must be living in. When I pressed her for more info she clammed up. But the maids, they talk. I found out that dead birds and accidents are vet common. The last owner was pushed downstairs and had a miscarriage. No one came to her door rescue for hours while she laid in a pol of blood. Through a friend at work, I sought the service of a medium. When he stepped foot into my house, the first thing he said was, “hmm”. He went about to do a cursory check of the place and said he can only try to help but for a long term solution it is better to sell the place and move out. According to the master my house is sitting on the “crossroads” meaning a blood toll must be extracted for payment. He suspected that it’s either the land itself is hungry or that a contractor has buried something in the land underneath the house. If want it checked, you have to demolish the house to find. If want to go, better go fast cos the toll will only get more and more. Eventually leading to death. After that visit, I consulted other priests, and most gave me similar conclusion. I put up the house for rent, while my family and I moved out to another rented place. None of my tenants lasted long there. For me, my luck made a 180 deg recovery. Eventually we managed to sell it away. But occasionally I would drive past to see who’s staying there now. Always curious to check with the new owners if they have encounters but rather not open a can of worms. |
