Confession by Skylar Lou This one is a short confession by it's quite... hair raising. - Eugene Tay My brother and I used to share a room that had a double decker bed. He usually sleeps on the top deck and I sleep on the the bottom deck. One night we were casually preparing to sleep so he climbed to his top deck and I went to turn off the lights before going to bed myself. A few minutes in the darkness I heard a sound of someone scratching their hair. It kept on getting louder and I thought it was my brother trying to annoy me so I yelled at him to shut up, but we both ended up saying the same thing to each other at the same time. We paused for a moment and my brother told me to on the lights because he was too scared to. I jumped up and switched on the lights. We both looked around the room but there was nothing. I jumped up and switched on the lights. We both looked around the room but there was nothing. We went back to sleep with the lights on. The next day we talked about it but as days go by we the incident slowly faded from memory. A few weeks later, when our mother was changing our bedsheet, she call us to the room and asked, “why is there so many hair wedged between my brother's mattress and the wooden board?” I picked up the pile of hair which was super long and dried. The strange thing is that no one in the family had ever had long hair. Where and how did this hair get there? Confession by Joseph De Cotta Edited by Eugene Tay This gave me the goose. Makes me wonder the things that are happening beside us without us realising it. This is the second prison story confessed by Jason. - Eugene Tay This one is my uncle's story when he was actually incarcerated at Pudu Prison, KL, Malaysia, many years ago. He was friendly with many of the guards because he was a regular resident at the prison. He was in and out many times for drugs related offences. He was also a good prisoner and helped with the guards and inmates. The guards entrusted him with the duty to do nightly cell counts. He and the duty guard were going through the cells doing head count until the got to a particular one. My uncle saw someone on the bed and marked it on his list. He was just about to leave when he was pulled back by the guard. He looked at the guard who put his fingers on his lips in the gesture of silence and pointed into the cell. He was just about to leave when he was pulled back by the guard. He looked at the guard who put his fingers on his lips in the gesture of silence and pointed into the cell. My uncle peered in and noticed two people lying on the bed. Looking closer he realised in horror that the two individuals who were lying in bed were exact doubles of one another. My uncle knew this person and everyone in the prison. He said he felt his knees go weak seeing this. The guard just tapped him on the shoulder and beckoned him to continue. Later the guard told him that that this phenomenon would happen frequently in the prison - it happens quite a lot and to different inmates not just that guy. Confession by Joseph De Cotta Edited by Eugene Tay Jason described himself as a geeky Eurasian Psychologist working in a forensic environment who loves all things hantu, and this is part one of two prison confessions. - Eugene Tay A small gatehouse in the prison was awaiting a small intake of female prisoners into the prison i.e waiting for them to get processed and be allocated/shown to their cells. What usually happens is that they are taken for a shower before being directed to their cells. These women were escorted towards this gatehouse where their names would be checked off and recorded. A prison officer in the house saw three women walking with their escort one of whom had her hair wet from the recent shower. As they walked pass a pillar, to come towards his area he suddenly realised that now he was only seeing two prisoners. He walked out and asked where the other prisoner went (the one with the wet hair) and the escort said there were only 2 prisoners. The guy was so shocked, he swore he had seen another prisoner. He was so convinced that there were three prisoners that he suspected the third had somehow had escaped custody. He sounded the alarm and the prison was locked down. It was later ascertained that everyone was accounted for. Later a few older officers took this bloke aside and advised that this particular apparition had been seen on other occasions and not to make a fuss about it. This incident took place in a Perth Women's Prison Confession by C Edited by Eugene Tay My first major encounter that scared me up till today was when I was 5 or 6 years old and I was living in Bedok back then.I used to sleepover at my grand dad's place over the weekends and he had this alter in his living room. As a kid, I couldn't sleep if I didnt had a cup of milo. One night, my grandma went to sleep without making milo for me. So my uncle tried many ways to get me to fall asleep but I just couldn't sleep la. So I decided to walk across the hall to wake my grandma up so that she could make me a cup of milo. When I reached the middle of the hallway, my body froze. I could not move or make a sound, but something turned my head decided towards the alter in the living room, and what I saw scared the living hell out of me, and mind you I was just 5 or 6 years old and my parents didn't let me watch any horror/ghost movies at that age. What I saw was a silhouette at the start of the hallway, she/it was wearing all red - red traditional dress like the ones you see for those olden times especially at weddings, complete with a red veil. I remember this experience like it was just yesterday. I tried to scream, run and even tried to turn my head away but I just COULD NOT move! I tried to scream, run and even tried to turn my head away but I just COULD NOT move! It felt like I had lost control of my body. The ghost in the red dress drifted closer and closer to me until her outstretched arm could almost touch me. That was when I finally could break out of the trance and ran into my uncle's room. My uncle had no idea what happened but he tried to console best the best he could. After that incident, I was too afraid to go to my grandparent's room. As I got older, I actually told my parents about this incident. My dad actually believed me whereas for my mom, she scolded me for sprouting nonsense. So up till today, I still have no idea what it was that I saw that night and it actually makes me wonder about the alter. By right, having an alter at home is supposed to protect you from such things right? What are your thoughts? On top of this story, I have another story from my dad when we were staying in Bedok. I used to sleep in a room by myself when I was younger. We stayed at the 14th or 15th floor but when I look out my window I could see the top of the trees, some branches, and the open car park. There was one night my parents came back late. Being parents, the first thing they did was to check on their kid. When my dad came in the room to peek at me, he saw a single red eye through the aircon hole looking at me sleep. The aircon in those days are not the kind that a sleek and wall mounted. These were the bulky ones that were attached to the window and there would be a small space for the ventilation piping to go out of.
I hope you guys enjoy the story and I hope you guys would be keen to hear more stories from me, cause I'm dying to share it with everyone! :) |
