RESIDENCY FOR PRACTITIONERS

A Professional Home for Serious Practitioner

Send us a WhatsApp message with “RESIDENCY”, and we’ll be in touch to guide you through the process.

FOR PRACTITIONERS READY TO TAKE THE NEXT STEP

The Halls on The Hill Residencies are designed for practitioners ready to transition from isolated or inconsistent work into a stable professional practice.

The residency provides practical systems, strategic business mentorship, and a professionally run venue aligned for spiritual work.

It is intended for practitioners who want to develop their craft responsibly, work with clarity and structure, and build a sustainable livelihood around meaningful work.

WHO IS THIS RESIDENCY FOR?

The The Halls on the Hill Residency is for practitioners who:
  • Already have real skill, lived experience, or training — formal or informal
  • Currently practice on the side, inconsistently, or in isolation
  • Want to take their work seriously as a profession
  • Are ready to operate with clear boundaries, accountability, and care
  • Understand that good work requires both depth and structure

This residency is designed for practitioners who are prepared to step into professional responsibility, not just personal interest.

THE GAP WE ADDRESS

Many capable practitioners struggle not because their work lacks value, but because they lack the conditions to practise consistently.

Common challenges include:
  • Irregular income
  • Administrative burden
  • Lack of suitable space
  • No clear guidance on pricing, boundaries, or growth
  • Working alone without professional feedback or support

The Halls on the Hill exists to provide the structure, guidance, and environment that allows serious practice to become stable and sustainable.

WHAT RESIDENTS RECEIVE
1. A Professional Venue for Practice
Practitioners have access to both dedicated practice spaces and shared work areas that support day-to-day professional activity.

This offers:
  • A consistent, appropriate environment for client and group work
  • A setting that supports trust, focus, and professionalism
  • Relief from temporary, unsuitable, or ad-hoc workspaces
  • A venue aligned for spiritual and contemplative practices

Practitioners work within a space that supports their work rather than undermines it.
2. Professional Recognition & Credibility
Residents are formally recognised as The Hall's Resident Practitioners.

This includes:
  • Listing within The Hall’s practitioner directory
  • Association with a curated and standards-driven institution
  • Professional credibility through alignment, not self-promotion

This recognition helps practitioners move from working alone to working within a trusted professional context.
3. Practice Development & Mentorship
Residents receive guidance to help them:
  • Shape their work into clear, ethical, and repeatable offerings
  • Set boundaries that protect both practitioner and client
  • Communicate their work clearly without exaggeration or confusion
  • Develop workshops, series, or longer-term offerings
  • Move beyond one-off sessions into a coherent practice

Residents also receive one-on-one strategic guidance focused on:
  • Positioning and scope of practice
  • Pricing and sustainability
  • Brand and community building
  • Long-term professional direction

This guidance is grounded in real experience and practical considerations.
4. Systems That Reduce Administrative Load
Residents may access integrated systems for:
  • Booking and scheduling
  • Payments and basic administration

These systems allow practitioners to manage clients, content, and operations in one place, with minimal friction.

The intention is to allow practitioners to focus their energy on their work while maintaining professional standards and clear expectations
5. A Professional Peer Environment
Residents become part of a curated group of practitioners working at a similar level of seriousness.

This provides:
  • Peer reflection and shared learning
  • Professional accountability
  • Reduced isolation
  • A working environment grounded in respect rather than performance

This is a professional setting designed to support good work over time.
6. Longer-Term Pathways
For residents who demonstrate consistency, integrity, and readiness, further opportunities may become available, including:
  • Teaching or mentorship roles
  • Participation in The Hall's programmes or public initiatives
  • Contribution to future projects or institutional work
  • Ongoing affiliation within the The Hall's ecosystem

Residency is designed as a developmental pathway, not a short-term arrangement.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

A residency is considered successful when:
  • The practitioner can practise consistently and sustainably
  • Income is stable and proportionate to effort
  • Work is clearly defined and ethically held
  • Clients understand the scope and boundaries of the practice
  • The practitioner feels grounded rather than depleted

Success is measured by stability, professionalism, and long-term viability.

RESIDENCY ACCESS

Residency is offered by application and invitation only.

This allows The Halls on the Hill to maintain clear standards and ensure a good fit for both the practitioner and the wider community.

If you’re ready to commit fully to your practice and take it forward as a serious, professional livelihood, we welcome your application for residency with The Halls on the Hill.

Send us a WhatsApp message with “RESIDENCY”, and we’ll be in touch to guide you through the process.

RESIDENCY FEE

THOTH Residency is priced at SGD 1,288 per month for individual and SGD 1,888 for organisation.

This fee reflects the real cost of operating professionally, consolidated into a single, stable framework designed to reduce guesswork and risk.

At this level, residency provides access to:
  • A dedicated venue designed and grounded for spiritual and energy work
  • Co-working space for planning, preparation, and day-to-day professional work
  • One-to-one business consultancy with an experienced startup and growth advisor
  • Structured framework to help residents clarify, workshop, and execute their business goals
  • A bespoke booking, calendar, and payment system
  • Studio access for digital content creation and teaching materials
  • Use of a professional address for business registration and operations
  • Access to a network and community of serious practitioners

For most practitioners, assembling and managing these independently costs significantly more — in money, time, and trial-and-error.

Residency simplifies the operational side of practice so practitioners can focus on the work itself, with clearer direction and lower overall risk.
