Long before hospitals, hostels, and high-rises filled its skyline, this district was a patchwork of secret societies, sacred shrines, and forgotten graves — a landscape where the boundaries between power and the paranormal were perilously thin.

​On this walk through the old quarter, storyteller Eugene Tay leads you behind the polished veneer of modern Singapore into the heart of its underworld — both literal and spiritual. You’ll hear of clandestine triad meetings that once took place behind shuttered windows, of coded rituals that bound loyalty and blood in the same breath. You’ll discover stories of one of Singapore’s most renowned spirit mediums whose visions once helped the living find peace with the dead.

​Across the road from what was once Singapore’s most infamous red-light district stands a small, unassuming shrine dedicated to a female mystic — a saint whose lineage traces back to the Prophet himself. For generations, offerings have been quietly laid at her tomb by those seeking mercy, protection, or forgiveness. Her presence is said to bless the wayward and the weary alike, as if to remind the city that holiness and sin have always lived side by side.
The night concludes at Singapore’s oldest police station, a building that has seen crimes so chilling that even the ghosts seem reluctant to speak of them. Here, the living once interrogated the guilty — and sometimes, the guilty never left.

Basic information - Walking tour

1. This is a rain-or-shine event. We will proceed in the event of light rain. However, if the weather is deemed too dangerous to proceed, the tour will be rescheduled for another day. A refund will be provided if you are unable to make the new date. 
2. Participants must be of moderate fitness - able to walk for 2.5 hours without rest. Moderate slopes.
3. The Hosts will do their best to take care of all participants and ensure a fun and safe tour, however there may be situations that are considered acts of nature that was not pre-empted. Participants agree to not hold Supernatural Confessions and the Hosts responsible for any unforeseen mishaps.
4. This is a walking tour hosted by professional hosts who would regal you with tales of myths, legends, and lore. These are real stories told by real people, and collected personally by Eugene Tay. You will not find these stories online.
5. We will not be hunting ghosts, we will not be using paranormal devices to detect their presence. What you will get is a mind-blowing storytelling experience about a supernaturally active place many have talked about, but few have seen.

Minimum pax required to commence the tour is 8 pax. If the date you have chosen is cancelled by us, we will offer you an alternative date; if no alternative dates are available, we will give you a full refund.

Safety
Please sound out if you have:

• existing condition(s).
• feeling unwell.
• notice a fellow Walker feeling unwell.

Water Resource

• The entire duration of the walk is about 2.5 hours.
• Please hydrate sufficiently.
• There is only one pitstop three quarters of the way into the tour with toilet and water point.

Pace

• The pace is normal walking speed (4km/hour).
• We will have about 10 checkpoints throughout the tour where we will stop to tell stories.
• The terrain is flat ground mostly.

Comfort

• You do not need specific hiking shoes for this walk. Wear your comfortable walking shoes or slippers.
• it’s a rain or shine event. Bring your umbrella if you don’t fancy being drenched.
• if mosquitoes ain’t your thing, bring some insect repellent.
• The places we are going are known for their paranormal encounters. The tour is relatively safe supernaturally speaking, but if required, we can refer you to one of our contacts for deep soul cleansing.

Parking

• If you are driving, consider parking at Pearl's Hill Terrace (end point) or at Spooner Road open air carpark (closest to start point)

Public Transport

• Nearest MRT to starting point is Outram Park MRT Green, Brown, or Purple Line (Exit 5 - Police Cantoment Complex)
• Nearest bus stop to starting point is Kg Bahru Rd - Bef Kampong Bahru Ter (10041) stop. Buses available are: 197, 196, 143, 61, 124, 190, 166, 122, 961, 174
• Nearest MRT to end point is Chinatown MRT
• Lots of buses available around the vicinity.
• No problem with cabs either.

Videography

• Photography is great! Click away as much as you like and share them on social media.
• However, we ask that you do not video the tour.
• First of all the lighting is really bad, so unless you got night vision cams, it’s going to be grainy and shaky.
• Secondly, we don’t want to spoil the mystery by releasing these uncurated footages on the internet.
