You know, I was contemplating whether I should share this story. I would really like to add some humor to it to lighten the mood a little but damn, this one just felt like dead weight in my gut pulling me down under. It’s the sole reason why I don’t wanna engage with spirits of the dearly departed who won’t depart. There is something deeply disturbing about them which is why they are still here. So, I spoke to a dog tonight and he came into the circle willingly. I did this remotely from my own home. This was a dog I had communicated with before so it was easy to connect, but this time I felt a little nauseous, off balanced and ill when we were connected. I didn’t need to lie down but I felt just a little off. Then he showed me a girl, Caucasian, blonde, with her face exploding outwards. The vision literally showed her face exploding outwards with blood and gore. This was my first experience as an Animal Communicator with this sort of a disturbing vision. Animals don’t usually have the cognitive ability to scare with such visions because usually what are relayed to me are what they see with their eyes. This communication was certainly not going the right way. After that vision, it felt like there was a frequency jam between us and I couldn’t really get anything through or from the dog. I tried to reconnect with different methods, but something was preventing us from communicating. Then just as I was about to give up, the visions came back. It was the girl again. Red dress, red because it was soaked in blood. Imagine a white dress sprayed with blood. That’s what it looked like. I wasn’t feeling very good about this communication, wondering how to deliver the message without scaring the pawrents silly. Walking on eggshells, and on top of thin ice, with me, Godzilla on rollerblades with a blindfold. That’s how it felt navigating this communication minefield sometimes. There had to be some kind of history there. This dog was showing me what he was seeing but I wasn’t about to go up to the her asking, “Excuse me ah.. but what happened to you?” A part of me was curious, but another part of me would rather not know. I thanked the dog for the communication and we left the circle because it was obvious we weren’t alone. She was tapping into our connection as she wanted to communicate. So I called the pawrent and slowly waded into the deep end of the pool by asking if the pawrent noticed her dog feeling unwell? The answer was yes but that was last week. This wasn’t it. The feeling I detected was in real time when I connected with the dog. I asked gingerly if she noticed her dog acting strangely in the new home. She said her dog had a tendency of barking in the corridor at nobody. I told her the time I was communicating with her dog, which was the time frame I was seeing these images, matched the time her dog was barking. I asked if this strange behavior was also prevalent at home but her reply was that he was fine. I was relieved because whatever the dog could see was only loitering outside and did not get inside the house. I suggested she kept the door closed and consider inviting a priest from their church to bless (consecrate) the home before moving in officially. Thankfully the pawrent was nice about it and didn’t think I was a freak or worse, a money grabbing charlatan scam artist. I swear man, I love my gift but I hate having to be the harbinger of bad news. But damn, some hardcore stuff happened to her a long time ago. After the session, I felt chills run through my body. I think the girl roaming the corridor was trying to connect with me but I really wasn’t in the mood for it, so I went on a mantra chanting solo performance reciting Our Father. “Please, please, please just leave me alone. I really don’t wanna know. Go find some other 3rd Eyed person to talk to. I wasn’t built for this kind of mission in life.” After I stopped feeling the chills, I texted another member of the Supernatural Confessions group asking if he had ever seen such an entity before. I started describing the vision the dog had shown me, and he said he has - World War II victims. That totally made sense because I was wondering how people got their faces blown up like that in Singapore? It was a girl so how did this happen??? I was not sure if she was shot in the face during the war or she took a fall and landed on her face but it was gruesome. I took a long shower and tried to shake off the vibe I picked up from her. It was really disturbing, this feeling of unrest. She wasn’t particularly malevolent. Just aimless and lost, roaming the space. I think the dog saw her and was barking to warn her not to enter the home. Animals do that to protect their family from things seen and unseen. Nothing we can do about it when it is outdoors though. As long as it is not in our home, just let it be and wish it a safe journey into the light sooner rather than later. Confession by Marie Ho
In early August, my partner and I moved into our home in an old condo, with our dog, Heidi, just before the Chinese Hungry Ghost Festival started. Heidi is a 14-year old senior dog from Switzerland, who doesn’t act or look her age. Since she came to stay with me last year, she has stolen my heart, turning me into a dog person no one had thought possible. The following Thursday, we woke up to find Heidi immobilized in her bed. She had peed in her bed, unable to stand up or walk. We tried to help her stand up, but she collapsed right away. It was the first time she was like this, and her eyes looked so dazed. I thought we might just lose her. We rushed her down to the vet for an emergency appointment. At the clinic, Heidi underwent almost every test possible. My usually timid dog turned aggressive and bit all the nurses. We had little choice but to sedate Heidi just to get the X-rays done. The X-Rays showed her stomach and heart were slightly enlarged, and the full blood test showed elevated liver levels. But the results left us perplexed - there was no stroke, nothing to explain why she suddenly collapsed, or what could have caused a paralysis like that. The vet was hesitant to provide any answers then and arranged for us to come back the next day for more checks. Fortunately for us, there was an Animal Communicator at the clinic that night and the vet invited her into the room to "speak" with Heidi to find out what was wrong, as there were no medical causes detected that could explain the severity of her condition. The Animal Communicator spoke with Heidi and related her findings to us - Heidi seemed so far away. Heidi was scared and asked if it was really time for her to go, for someone had told her so. Heidi said she loved us very much, and waited a long time for me to come into her life. She had been my partner’s dog for 13 years, but got instantly attached to me once we met. I’d never been much of an animal person and never thought I could love a dog this much but when I heard that, I broke down and cried even harder. At first I thought it was the stress of moving house and adjusting to a new place. But with Heidi like this, I had no logical explanation. At the brink of sounding crazy - I thought it could be something spiritual in the house/room, as the place had been left empty for a while before we bought it. It would explain why my partner had been having consecutive dreams of someone chasing him and waking up tired every morning. As for Heidi, she had seemed so lost in our new place, not wanting to come into our room. It was very strange because she always wanted to be near us, and was used to sleeping in the room with us. The night before, we carried her into the room and placed her on her bed at the corner, only to have her wake up immobilized. I shared the incident with my sister and family friend, and we arranged for a Space Cleanser to come over the next day. But we had to get through tonight first. We were in tears when carrying Heidi home from the vet. She was so limp and lifeless in our arms. Her breathing was hard and labored, sometimes gasping. We had the 24/7 Animal Hospital number on speed dial, preparing ourselves for the worst. All I could do was put my hands on her and pray. “Please, please don’t take her away from me this soon.” That night, we slept with Heidi in the living room. There were two disturbances - first, she had a nightmare and was yelping in her sleep. Second, she had diarrhea and soiled all over herself. She just didn’t have the strength to get up. She is a very shy dog and you could tell she was so embarrassed. We hardly slept that night, waking up to pray over her or calm her down, or clean her up. The Space Cleanser came the next day. It was Friday morning. We shared briefly that it had been a stressful time moving house, about the consecutive dreams and our dog's paralysis. He walked around the house. First thing he said was that we had a mild and restless spirit in the house who was stuck, and didn't know where to go. He went into the room and said there was a bed where our new wardrobe is, and a man had passed away there - it was peaceful but the send-off was likely not done properly. We were stunned. We didn’t tell him, but that was the exact area we had placed Heidi’s old bed in, and she couldn’t get up the next day. I guess it explained why Heidi was so uncomfortable in the room and preferred the living room. He started chanting and cleansing the house with incense and prayers. All of sudden Heidi got up and started walking normally, as if nothing bad had happened to her. She followed him everywhere in the house, and was like her old self again. He cleansed the house and said the spirit left by the main door. He gave us advice as to how to keep the aura of our home happy and harmonious, and an amulet to put under our pillow for restful sleep. That was the first night my partner slept like a log since we moved in. Heidi came into the room and slept on her new bed, this time in a different spot next to us. Her next-day recovery was nothing short of a miracle, but we are still following up with regular vet appointments just to be sure. We tried tracking down the previous owner of the home but reached a dead end. I don’t have a logical explanation for what happened but I take it that we did a good deed. After this incident, many good things started happening - things fell into place, life generally felt smoother. Above all, I’m just thankful to come back to a happy home and to have our dog back. A few years ago, I went to Malaysia to visit a friend and was told about the passing of her pet dog, whose urn was kept at her house. After a few months, she developed an issue in her leg, feeling pain at her ankle. She was also having mood swings, and feeling frustration at work etc, but had no idea why. After that, they invited a priest to the house. The moment the priest saw her, he said, "There's a dog biting you".
So that explained the pain in the ankle. They were advised to release the ashes to the sea or bury under the ground. My understanding is, a medium/ tangki/ priest will not be able to communicate with dead animals. However, the ritual was performed and nothing happened after that. I still see people putting their pet urns in their house. Do you think is it good luck or bad luck? Is it a form of memorial for the pet? Confession by Anon
This did not happen to me but to my colleague whom I was on duty with at that time. The incident affected her so badly that she was given a week’s compassionate leave and subsequently went for a counseling session as recommended by HR. An elderly patient who came in for a simple surgery, was brought to a ward to rest and kept under observation. At around 4 to 5 pm in the afternoon, she would keep pressing the call button and my colleague who attended to her looked flustered each time she went in and out of the ward. We didn't know what the reason was because my colleague did not share any information with us. Anyway, getting constant calls is not uncommon for us. Later on we learned that the patient had been complaining that she could see an old lady standing in the corner of the room. This old lady, that my colleague couldn’t see, was apparently telling the patient that her time was up and that she (the spirit) was here to take her away. The patient was hysterical, of course, and despite the nurse placating her and saying that it was probably just the effects of the anesthetic, she was inconsolable. This was a woman who was healthy with no drug allergies. She had come for a simple operation. Then she saw a ghost who said it was going to claim her life and by 9pm she was pronounced dead. My colleague on her part was inconsolable because she felt directly responsible for her death. From a medical perspective, there was a small window of possibility that could explain the tragedy, but as experienced nurses, we know this sort of unnatural death will be conveniently explained away, because, in all honesty, what else could we write in our report? The hantu had taken her? I would lose my job. Confession by Anon
I was a nurse at Alexandra hospital. I’m sure you must have heard a lot of stories from that hospital. With regards to the notoriety of haunting levels, the east side has Old Changi Hospital and the west side has Alexandra Hospital. The only difference is that Alexandra Hospital is still a functioning institution. When the Japanese came, more than 200 people were massacred on hospital grounds. More specifically, they died while hiding in the underground tunnels. The tunnels have been partially sealed up, and the hospital has gone through many rounds of upgrading to look modern and pristine, but the entire place is haunted. I’m in charge of the geriatric ward and there’s one particular spirit in one of the wards, on one specific bed number that doesn’t like to share its space with patients of a particular race. It’s not even the problem with the bed because we have swapped beds but the haunting still happens. Patients who sleep on that spot will find themselves on the floor at night. Not all patients will be affected though. Only Indian patients. I remember the first time I had this encounter. I was doing my rounds in the wee hours of the morning and found the patient on the floor. Of course I was concerned, because falling off the bed from that height is going to be devastating for them, but when I checked the patient, there were no injuries. No evidence of a fall. When we checked with the patient himself, he didn't remember ever moving out of bed. We moved him back to bed and made the necessary precautions to prevent another fall but the next time we checked on him, he was on the floor again. The more senior nurses knew about this from their prior experiences. They said that this patient should have been assigned another bed but because the beds were all occupied, he had to sleep there for a night. The next day, after he was moved to a different ward and bed, nothing of this sort happened to him again. The Chinese man who took that bed did not meet with any mishaps. That was when my colleagues shared their stories with me. There is an unspoken rule for patient bed assignment, to avoid putting Indian patients in that spot, but sometimes due to vacancy issues, we have no choice. In those situations, the nurses who knew about the haunting would go to the bed and scold the spirit first. “You don’t be naughty ah, today we got patient here, you don’t anyhow push people. Stay one or two nights only.” Sometimes it works. Note: I asked if anyone stayed in the ward to attempt to witness how the move happened. The confessor said they did, but when a nurse was present, the spirit would be well behaved and nothing would happen. Confession by Dian Raihan
It was in the early 2000s. My best friend had her 21st birthday bash at a chalet in Sentosa near Tanjong Beach. Close friends and family were invited. Most of us stayed overnight. To get to the chalet, we had to walk quite a bit from the main beach area. The path to the chalet was very dark and barely lit. Basically if the chalet was not in use, you would not be able to see it easily because it was nestled in between a lot of trees. As I was walking to the chalet with my then-bf, I was already quite creeped out and remarked at how ulu this chalet was. When we arrived, it was already about 9pm and the party was in full swing with BBQ and all. Some of us decided to play some rugby as the chalet had a large lawn and was surrounded by thick foliage and tall trees. As we were playing and being rowdy, we could all hear loud rustling in the trees but dismissed it for some animal that had been disturbed by the ball being accidentally thrown into or near the trees several times. The rustling happened on and off. Eventually we got tired of playing and sat at the picnic table. We chatted and laughed until one of my guy friends, let’s call him Ifan, pointed out to my girl friend, let’s call her Sara, to look at the ball that we had left near the trees. We turned to look and saw the ball rolling upwards! The ball was left on an area with a slope so rolling upwards, against gravity was definitely abnormal. We all fell silent. Then Ifan pointed and jokingly said to Sara," Eh your friend is here." We were all damn pissed and scolded him because you're not supposed to acknowledge "its" presence. We didn't feel comfortable anymore being outdoors. Since it was already 2am+, some of us decided to go back into the chalet to sleep. We slept on the floor in the living room, using whatever cushions, pillows and blankets we could find. Sara slept next to her boyfriend while my bestie, the birthday girl, was sandwiched between Sara and me. Some of the guys slept near our feet and some were closer to the main sliding door and dining area. Suddenly I woke up at about 3am+ and saw that my bestie was awake. She giggled and whispered to me that she was awakened by Sara because of her moaning. She asked me to peep over her shoulder to see if Sara and her boyfriend were making out or doing something 😆😆. I peeped over and saw Sara and boyfriend sleeping. We giggled a bit because we thought that they were pretending to sleep. Both of us just stayed awake. Then, we heard Sara moaning reeeeally loudly and we sniggered, thinking that maybe both Sara and boyfriend were "getting it on". I peeped over again, and again, saw Sara and boyfriend sound asleep. We sniggered to ourselves again. We heard Sara moan loudly again and this time both of us looked at Sara and saw her shaking but her boyfriend was sound asleep next to her. Our first thought was Sara was having fits! My bestie tapped Sara on the shoulder and asked if she was OK. No response. Then Sara suddenly moaned and began shaking again, with her hands curled up and her feet pointed and stiffened. My bestie kept tapping and calling her name to wake her up but Sara would not wake up. We woke Sara's boyfriend to see if he could help her or if he knew about any medical conditions she had. He tried waking her up too but she still would not wake up. By this time, quite a few of our other friends had beem woken up by the commotion. Ifan took a look at her and said that she looked like she had been possessed in her sleep. We all scolded him again for acknowledging "its" presence when the ball rolled upwards against gravity and told him it was his fault if she really was possessed. Ifan said he knew what to do. He went to get some water, muttered some prayers into it and spread the water over her face then prayed over her. She kept moaning loudly with her body shaking but fully stiffened head to toe. After some time, he then pulled on one of her big toes while saying some prayers. This helped because Sara's body eventually went limp. We laid her down again and he washed her face with more of the water, then tapped her face to wake her. She finally came to her senses and told us what happened. She said she had a dream that she was being chased by an entity and was trying her best to run away from it. The entity told her that if it caught her, she was doomed. She felt damn tired but had to continuously run to escape the entity. She said in the dream she was screaming and saying prayers very loudly but it continued to chase her. At one point, she could hear us calling her name but just could not respond. She knew she couldn't move her body and her moaning was actually her screaming! It was already around 6am+ when she finally snapped out of it. Imagine screaming for a good 3-4 hours but nobody could hear you??? Ifan inadvertently brought the entity home with him when he pulled it out through her big toe. His parents stopped him dead in his tracks outside the house because they could see it following behind him. They called an ustad who got rid of the entity, finally. Needless to say, Ifan felt quite bad for bringing it upon Sara that night. Those chalets are now no longer being rented out and apparently used for other purposes. Confession by Las Chapter
This is my first time posting here. Was thinking if I should share this. Sharing this because my boyfriend is telling me to share it cause it’s interesting. This happened back in 2012 when I was in sec 4. It was New Year’s Eve and my friends and I decided to go to Vivo City to celebrate and hang out together. There were five of us. After the countdown, we decided to take some photos before heading back home and went to the Sentosa boardwalk. I’m deathly afraid of ghosts as I’ve had nightmares almost every night since I was young until my family moved house. My mum never believed in my nightmares though. Naturally I was the most pantang amongst my group of friends. One of my friends suggested that the three of us took a photo together. I tried to dissuade them because I heard of a superstitious belief that taking photos in threes would invite spirits to join us. But my group, consisting of young people, did not believe in such old wives' tales. After some persuasion, I relented because I did not want to be a party pooper. We took a number of photos, shared it in our WhatsApp group chat and went home. Everything was normal up to this point. Almost a week later, my friends started to spam our WhatsApp group. Apparently one of them wanted to post a photo we took that night on Instagram but the photo was pretty dark, so she edited it to try to make it brighter only to realize there was something behind us in the photo. Lo and behold, it was the photo of 3 of us in a group, I was the one in the middle and there was an apparition of someone standing behind me. I panicked! I was at work at that time and my colleagues consisting mainly of older aunties and uncles told me to quickly go to a temple and pray. They also told me to delete the photo but my boyfriend told me that I should share it with the Supernatural Confessions community. Just to confirm that the photo had not been edited just to scare me, I went back to the original photo to brighten it myself and saw the apparition. First photo is the original photo taken, the second one has brightness enhanced so you can see what I’m talking about. Photo quality dropped a lot when I uploaded it to Facebook but from my phone I can see a translucent figure of a lady in a toga dress, her hair was in a bun, and her mouth was hanging wide open. Confession by Hady Jay It was in late 2017. My team and I were managing an event at One Degree 15 in Sentosa. It was midnight when we finished our event and by the time we dismantled the structure and packed up, it was almost 1.30am. We loaded our stuff in the lorry and my boys drove off first. I walked to my car alone - it was about 2am by that time - and I was feeling uneasy as if something was following me. I muttered a silent prayer and tried to calm my nerves. I was tired and all I wanted to do was to go home, shower and sleep. I got to my car safe and sound, gunned the engine and drove off. While driving out of One Degree 15, suddenly a white figure landed on the left side of my car bonnet. It was just sitting there with its back towards me. I could see her black long hair and her back. I didn’t stop the car, I kept driving but I could feel my car slowing down as if I was ferrying something extremely heavy. I was driving at 60km/hr but it felt like 30km/hr. My heart started to pound in my chest. From sleepy, I was suddenly wide awake. I thought to myself, “please, please, please, don’t turn around and look at me.” I quickly played some Quranic verses from Al Baraqah surah Yasin. The white figure flew off into the night and disappeared. I prayed in my heart that it wouldn’t follow me home. * Another incident that also took place in 2017 was when I was managing a Corporate Event in Sentosa Sofitel Hotel. After the set up, I decided to drive out of Sentosa to perform my Solat Maghreb. I went to the nearby mosque Masjid Temenggong Daeng Ibrahim @ 30 Telok Blangah Road.. Maghreb main prayer was already performed because I arrived late, so I took my wudhu and prayed alone in the middle of the prayer hall. As I was about to start praying I felt a tap on my left shoulder like someone was telling me that we should Solat Berjemaah which meant I became the Imam and the person behind me became the Makmum (follower). I took a quick side glance and saw a figure of a man standing slightly behind me on my right. I started the Solat and during recitation of the Doas with every pause I heard a faint Amin coming from behind. After finishing the Doas I turned around to greet the person with a Salam but there was nobody there. I wonder who and what it was that prayed together with me. Location: Kembangan
After my divorce, I moved to a rented flat in Kembangan. I needed a place to stay and wasn’t fussy so I took the cheapest and most available unit I could find in the area. It was a good deal. I rented a room but had literally the whole place to myself because the landlord was hardly home. Also the contract terms were just for 3 months and renewable if I wanted to extend. The owner was looking for a buyer so this arrangement was temporary and suited me just fine. The house was something you would expect of a place where the landlord didn't care. He probably had a property elsewhere and this was more like a storeroom. There were Toyogo boxes piled high in the living room and cobwebs on the ceiling. There was a stale musty smell to the place but since I wasn’t staying there for long either, I didn’t let it bother me. Only problem was that every time I brought a female companion back, something spooked them and they would leave urgently. Happened many times. The pattern always repeated itself. All cited getting strangled, pinched till there were bruises, hearing a loud growl by their ear and sightings of a tall shadow figure by the doorway or in the corner. I managed to find another rental apartment three months later and moved out of that place. * Eugene's Note: Another confessor came forth with a similar encounter. He has reasons to believe it’s the same unit. Confession by Anon
This happened 16 years ago. I stared at a leaf that swirled helplessly in the wind after the taxi made a turn into W******* R***. Before I knew it, G***** C********** P********'s porter opened the taxi door and greeted me with a warm welcome. I was on a business trip in Bangkok. Since it was my first visit to Thailand, my husband joined me midway through my trip so that we could explore the city together before heading back. After dropping my stuff at the hotel room, I made my way to a cafe at the hotel's lobby to wait for him to get in. The waiter hesitated when I asked to be seated at a quiet corner (I needed somewhere private place to complete some urgent work priorities). To my surprise, the waiter seated me on the inside of the long walkway with the quivering leaf I saw earlier on. People can access the walkway from the cafe through a pair of swing doors. But the walkway was empty that evening and the doors remained tightly shut (at least for the most part). My husband arrived shortly and seated beside me, waiting for me to be done. When I was finally done with my work, I gazed at the empty walkway outside and wondered why it was so windy that evening. Suddenly, the doors started to glide open outwards in slow-motion, in a creepy sort of manner and stopped halfway. A strong gust of wind went past me. Weird as it sounds, it felt as though invisible servants were at each side, opening and holding on to the doors for 'them'. Yes, 'them' - Because I literally felt an entourage float through the doors, past the back of my seat, and into the aisle that led towards the front where the crowded part of the cafe was. The door closed gingerly as the entourage moved away from my area and the wind ceased almost at the same time. I was in complete shock and looked to my husband for validation but he just dismissed my experience and urged me to leave the cafe quickly. Was the door automatic? Was it faulty? I don't recall it opening on its own any other time when I was seated there. The wind blowing against my skin indicated that the flow of air was moving towards the door, and if the wind was what had caused the door to open, it would be from the other direction. Why did the doors open only half of the way and then stay stationary? Why was the timing so 'zhun' in that the wind ceased at about the same time the doors closed? These questions played in my mind like a broken record when we toured Bangkok that weekend. As we went about the day, it became clear that my husband also witnessed the incident but was only too eager to let it slide. Not for me though. So right before we boarded the taxi to the airport, I made a dash towards the swing doors to check things out. There were no visible electrical controls. It wasn’t an automatic door. They were heavy, sturdy metal framed glass doors. The sort that required one to use significant body weight to push against so as to open them... the eerie breeze that night wouldn’t be strong enough to blow the doors open, let alone held it in place. |
