Close to 5 years ago, my ex company won the tender to this BPO project from another well known company in Singapore. I was originally from the well known company and later agreed to be transferred to the BPO company which was located at 8 commonwealth. First day when the team reported to work, we noticed that the building has a "very dark" aura and the workstation that we were assigned to work at has no natural lighting(no windows). Work tasks that was assigned to our team was very heavy and loaded. As an employee myself, I had a habit to finished the task for the day before I head home. One day, I felt that I could used some time after working hours to finished my work. My boss suddenly walk up to me to show me around the office where I could take the keys to lock the main door. He also showed me alternate ways to leave the office. (Ie. Fire escape way.) (At that point of time, I did not think so much.) After he orientated me, we went back to our own work station to continue our work. He left 10 mins later and I was alone in that office. (I wore my winter jacket that day cause my table happened to be underneath the air-con. ) A few mins later, I felt very cold despite wearing my damn thick winter jacket, my goosebumps stood up and also felt something/ someone looking behind me (but there was nobody in the office already) Out of fear, I stood up, I locked my laptop, I off only one side of the office lights and head home. The next day I went back to work, the office black out. - I pretended nothing happen. We shared the same office with the HR, we also heard from them that they too also saw some sighting. Or heard weird sounds from the partitions when nobody was around. After I joined supernatural confession, I concluded that the entity was not simple and if I can afford, never to work after 6pm or the last person to leave the office ever again. Confession by Shawn
I was posted to SISPEC (School of Infantry Specialist) back in 2006. As part of the BSLC (Basic Section Leader Course), there was an Exercise called Exercise Wanderer. In groups of 5-7 with full battle order on, you were made to navigate almost the whole of Pulau Tekong to find Checkpoints (Symbols and code words tied to trees in which you must shade/copy them to prove you actually found them.) The exercise was split into day and night. For day, each group/sub section were to find at least 2 out of 4 given checkpoints. The area was limited to Tekong Main Land. Time limit was about 5 to 6 hours (IRC). For night, it was limited to the Reclaimed Land portion of Tekong, and it started from 7pm to 11pm. Target was finding at least 1 out of 2 checkpoints. My story begins during the Night Portion of Ex. Wanderer. My team managed to obtained the first of two checkpoints, and were proceeding to the second one. We checked our maps and compasses and proceeded to the area which we believed was where the second checkpoint was. We walked a slow pace and soon passed by a training shed that was being used a BMTC company which were having their field camp. At this point, 2 of my section mates were exhausted; one had carried a signal set for the whole day, and another was visibly strained. We made a decision to split the section up, two of them to rest at the training shed, while the remaining 4 of us to proceed on, to find the last checkpoint. Now according to our maps and directions, the checkpoint was located in the middle of the forest some 100meters away from the training shed, hence the 4 of us immediately set off. Out of the 4 of us who went it to the forest were 1 malay guy (Lets call him A) and 3 chinese (including myself). It took us less than 5 minutes to enter the outskirts of forest. Upon entering the forest itself (we were able to differentiate the outskirts from the forest itself as the forest had shorter grass as compared to the outskirts which were above ankle levels). I remembered that I was first to enter and the forest wasn't as dark as I thought. The air was slightly "thicker" but I paid no attention to it as all i wanted was to find the damn checkpoint and return back to base camp. The layout of the forest was very orderly. Trees were planted in rows and they were quite short. Simply by tilting your head up a bit, one could see the portion whereby the main trunk separated into the thick brunches. I was fast approaching one of the trees to see if the checkpoint was tied to one of them when I heard A shouting my name. A: "Shawn! Eh, I go back first to the training Shed ah!" And with that, he "Doubled" out of the area. Almost running at his full speed. Without waiting for us to reply or for us to give any approval. I was puzzled. I turned to looked at my other 2 section members. "A" wasnt the kinda of guy to give up halfway, and I was sure he wasn't exhausted or injured. Now, at this point there was a slight breeze blowing in our direction. On hindsight, I should have treated it like a "warning" as when we first entered, the air was "thick", so where would there be a breeze coming suddenly? I looked at my two remaining mates, and one signaled to me that he would go out and see if "A" was ok. He was afraid that "A" might get lost. Just as he was about to leave, he give me a long look. But in my exhausted state, I merely nodded and proceed deeper into the forest with my remaining buddy on my left. 3 minutes later in the forest, both my buddy and myself were frustrated and exhausted. We failed to find the checkpoint. We wanted to move in deeper but suddenly my buddy told me that we should leave. "Eh why sia? Just a bit more la. We already here, another 5 mins" i mumbled, irritated at the notion that the forest had defeated us. " Shawn, lets go. I don't have a good feeling. The hairs on my arm are standing." half whispered my buddy. He looked spooked. I looked at him and nodded. We then left the forest. Back the training shed, all 6 of us were resting. I looked at "A", he was paled faced and breathing heavily. A: " Shawn. I'm sorry. I thought that by calling out to you, all of you would follow me and get the hell of that forest." "Huh, what do you mean?" I replied. Turns out the moment "A" stepped into the forest, the hair on his arm stood. He wanted to dismiss it due to exhaustion but then he looked up. And his sight fell upon to the tree which I was very near to. He told us he saw a white figure with long hair covering its face looking down at me. Thats when "A" called out to me, saying that he will leave the area first. He did not want to alarm us and that figure and hoped that we would leave immediately with us. The other section mate who left before my buddy and myself also felt uneasy, which was why he signaled to me that he would leave to see if "A" was ok. Hearing this, I looked towards my buddy and asked him if he saw anything, since both of us were in the front of the pack and nearest to the trees. He shook his head and said he did not see anything but feel his hair standing as we ventured deeper. The group was spooked and remained in silence. After awhile, we said our own prayers and left the area, moving back to our base camp. Confessed by Xuan Ming Law
Would like to share my confession here , i still remember the 1st or 2nd Supernatural Confessions Podcast i tuned in about haunted dolls. I myself is afraid of supernatural stuff etc but the thrill is there. Back to my story , after listening to the podcast i know i'm kinda scared and all but I calmed myself down and tell myself that they are everywhere and not to be scared. As long as I don't anger them, I'm fine. I sleep later on Fridays and I always have a smoke before i go to sleep . While i was smoking i was on my earpiece listening to music with one side unplugged in my ear. It was then i heard a sound of someone walking with those wooden traditional shoes - wooden clogs - which sounds 'klok klok' . I told myself must be the music but I know it's not. i just shrug it off and finish smoking and went to bed . The next few days , my dad told me he had sleep paralysis that same night and time that I heard the sound. Maybe it's paranormal? Don't know if its science or my mind is just play a fool of me or its some real stuff . But all i can say is that i calmed myself down after the podcast before i went out to smoke . But if i was not wrong the time was maybe 1 - 4am Confessed by Esther
I'm here sharing my experience at the Raintr33 hotel, which is said to be converted from part of the Old Changi Hospital. My friend and I, we planned an impromptu "staycation" at the Raintr33 hotel. We took a cab in and me stopped at the Mulberry building which is the the old samurai barracks. Upon reaching, we went to the Mulberry lobby wanting to check in. We enter the building, there was only a reception counter with a phone. So we dialed the ext on the phone and was told it was the other building and so we walked over. Everything was normal, until we walk back from the main lobby back to the Mulberry's lobby. As we were walking back, there was this very, very sweet smelling Frangipani smell lingering in the air. But we ignored it. Upon entering the room, everything was ok. We opened the doors to the balcony to chill a bit. Then there was knocking on the door. So we waited for a few more knocks before looking into the peephole. There was no one was there. We then decided to go take a walk around the area to enjoy the night. As we were walking back to the hotel, I realised something keeps brushing my face like some sort of spider web. I used my hands to sweep them away out of instincts. Next moment, I felt a cut on my hand and it started bleeding. On the way back to the room, we tried to take pictures of the corridor of the hotel. And it was legitly kind of spooky. After we opened the door to the room, I walked over to the balcony door while my friend prepared the solution to wash the wound. That's when we heard the door knocking again. And it's as though someone slammed the door to hard and the door was "bouncing". Then after cleaning the wound, we tried switching on the TV and it only works by pressing the button directly below the screen. So we called the reception to help change the battery of the remote. When the guy came up, he tried pressing the buttons and it works. So we tried when he is around and it works too.. After he left, the remote stopped working again. So we decided not to watch the TV anymore. We tried to get some sleep but we can't cause we felt a presence as though something was pressing us down. So we decided to sit at the balcony till the next morning. Upon checking out, I noticed brusies on my knee, ankle, wrist and arms, and a wound as though someone just removed the IV drip. And till now the wound is still there... Confessed by John
My cousin encountered something at woodlands block 852. This was the famous block that was reported in the news recently about being empty and haunted for many years until the used it for quarantine during the SARS period. My cousin was dating this girl when he was staying at block 852. Their relationship was alright at first. Until after she moved in, she began to have paranoia issues with him even though they are staying under the same roof. she will be paranoid when his on the phone or even bringing the phone to the toilet. She would even pick a fight with him over Facebook comments and Likes . The relationship began to go down hill. One day she went missing. and my cousin received a call saying she had committed suicide. After that call, my cousin began to have recurring nightmares about being chased. So we decided to seek help from a spiritual practitioner. My cousin was told to stay inside his room from from 1am onwards till the next morning for the next 7 days. and not to acknowledge anything no matter what he hears. The first night he heard "bom!bom!bom!" sound as though someone was banging on the door angrily. He was so afraid that he prayed till he fell asleep. it went on consecutively for 5 nights and on the 6th night it got so terrible that as it sounded as though some one broke in and ransacked the whole house. He got so afraid that he hid under the bed with the bolster on the bed, hoping to trick any entity into think that the bolster under the blanker was him. He closed his eyes tightly and prayed hard. After awhile, he heard the noises slowly faded away. He opened his eyes and he got a shocked of his life. He saw "her" head looking at him, her head hanging off the side of the bed, upside down. He remembered the master's advice that no matter what happened, he must never acknowledge it. After the 7 nights passed successfully, we went back to the spiritual master who told us that the girl had committed suicide wearing red and had landed on her head first. * Editor's Comment: This would be a good urban legend to spread around the campfire. I've been in touch with the supernatural world since young as my dad's a taoist priest and both maternal & paternal side of the family has someone meddling in taoist arts in every generation. I guess this was what slowly inched me towards the spiritual path to become a spiritual practitioner but instead of being a taoist practitioner, I have a background in Tarot, Reiki and the Akashic Records. I've got soooooo many stories (both personal and from friends) but decided to share this particular story with you today. I went to Phuket 3 year back with my best friend and we stayed in a hotel by the beach. While we were planning the trip, we made a mental note to bring protective items with us as we've heard that Phuket is very "dirty", especially after the Tsunami. We were super excited for the trip but something felt really off for me when we reached the hotel. I decided not to tell my friend as its just Day 1. The bell boy helped us with the luggage to the room and before we could tell him that we'd help ourselves into the room, he already opened the door and moved the luggage in. My friend looked at me and she was like, "How ah, we didn't knock and say anything" but it was too late so we simply muttered some apologies under our breath and told whatever entities out there that we're just there for a few days. Our room was beautiful, the pool was right outside the balcony and we had an open toilet. We unpacked and our crystal bracelets were on the bedside table, my amulet is right beside me and we left some crystals in the luggage after we heard that a friend "dabao-ed" a hantu in her luggage when she came back from Bangkok. I can safely say that we were very well protected everywhere apart from the toilet and the doorway. Everything went on fine until about 6pm in the evening and we returned to the room for a short nap before heading to the night market to get dinner. I was falling asleep when I saw an entity in the ceiling, watching us but as it didn't feel malevolent, I ignored and fell asleep. I only told my friend about it when we left the room for the night market but did mention that it didn't feel malevolent, more like curious on who came in. We dabao-ed dinner back and everything was fine until we prepared for bed. My friend was sleeping at the side near the toilet and I was on the side with the sofa and sliding doors to the balcony. The light from the toilet was shining on her face when she lay in bed so we decided to lower the blinds to 1/3 of the window. This is an important detail for a later in my story. So we showered and was watching TV when we heard the sound of the kettle boiling. Our pantry area was directly opposite the door to the toilet and right beside the entrance to the room, which is where the sound was coming from....except we didn't boil anything. I was tired and wanted to sleep so I walked over, decided to play with the kettle and said, "I'm going to sleep already don't disturb me. I paid for the room so I'm not going anywhere". From the corner of my eye, I saw something sneak back into the toilet. We didn't get proper sleep at night. The both of us would sleep, thinking that we've slept for hours and wake up to see that an hour or two has passed. We will feel super awake too. My friend wasn't sensitive, but I am, and she could feel that there was something wrong. I just didn't tell her that there was a crowd watching us as we slept, but they were unable to get near us. We had a different crowd every night, watching us from the protective perimeter we set up, as though we were animals in the zoo. Nothing much happened until Day 4, which was the night before we return to Singapore. We were preparing to head out in the afternoon when I noticed the blinds we lowered on Day 1, is now more than half way down the glass window suddenly. Without thinking, I asked my friend if she lowered it and I saw her face go white while she shook her head. I decided that enough was enough, we are already disturbed in our sleep and I felt really annoyed from the insufficient sleep. I went in to the toilet and pulled the blinds all the way up. I was very sure that the blinds didn't fall or lower itself because you need force to adjust it. I told her we're going out and when we return I want the room to be totally empty. We came back at night with our dinner, packed and went to sleep. When we woke up, we almost missed breakfast! We slept through the night (finally) with no disturbance, nobody watching us sleep and it was fantastic. Before we left we did thank them for making the last night in Phuket peaceful for us. That's the end of my confession and I hope you've enjoyed reading! Confessed by Geraldine Laetitia
The following encounter happened in the old Kampung along Lim Chu Kang Road. It is better known today for the abandon HDB Neo Tiew Estates. I used to go into the villages there when I was young as my mother's hometown is the Nan Hoe Village. This village will include where Neo Tiew stands today. I used to go there till my secondary school days and stay overnight there on the odd occasions like Chinese New Year and Family weddings where I was part of the wedding entourage. The roads in the village are all lined with tall grass, trees, banana trees, vegetation, and fish farms. As we all know, houses in the kampung are all situation far from each other, typically with farmlands, banana trees or simply forest in between them. My grandmother, my first uncle and 2nd uncle and a few older cousins all have houses in the village. Evening time as the sun set to the horizon is normally the most beautiful time. The last ray of sun turns the land into a hue of orange glow, with birds chirping away and the night crickets comes out to play. Hence it is no surprise that my cousin and I love to play outside the house as the sun set behind us. One evening, as usual that is what we did. Suddenly, my cousin saw the daughter of one of the neighbour standing far away among the field. Since she hardly see her neighbours, she was extremely elated to see her friend. So she ran towards the girl while shouting her name!.... Just as she was reaching the girl, she suddenly stop. In front of her are just rows of banana trees... Where was the neighbour she saw? She was stunned and immediately turn around and ran back towards the house. Since then, she will never dare step out of the house the moment the sun begins to set. When I visit the village, I will usually stay at my 2nd uncle's house. The road from my 2nd uncle house to my 1st uncle house will take you pass the spot where my cousin had saw her neighbour. One evening, my eldest cousin (1st uncle's daughter) was holding her little brother and walking back towards her house, returning home at the end of the day. Not long after she set off, as she look towards the direction of her house, she saw a lady standing not far away. She thought it was her mother. She dragged her younger brother and ran very fast towards the lady, shouting "Mummy! Mummy!" When she reached the lady, she dived and buried herself into the lady's chest...... and she immediately let out a very loud shriek the moment she dived towards the lady. At the very moment, then she realize there is no mummy. Right in front of her is just a banana tree that she is hugging. She was so shocked and terrific, she burst into tears immediately. Her younger brother was just as terrific. Both of them end up in tears and ran. They cried as they ran as fast as possible back to their house and the other side of the field. Accordingly to the old folks, banana trees usually turn into the impression of a person at dusk, just right before the sun set fully. Not sure if it is really true, but what happened in the kampung will always stay in our memories. Confession by Xiao Ka
I remember when my brother helped me to move my stuff into a new rented apartment about two years ago. It was fine at first until I brought my son back to my apartment during the school holidays, and that was when things started to feel a bit strange around the house. At that point, he still wasn't able to express himself very well. One day when I was cleaning up the house, I heard my son giggling and laughing in the next room and decided to see what he was up to. I saw him sitting inside the wardrobe, laughing and pointing, as if having a conversation with someone else. One of the wardrobe door was opened, and the other was closed. Whoever it was that my son was speaking to was out of my line of sight. I walked over to the wardrobe and opened the door but there was no one there. My son looked up at me but kept quiet. Few days later, I was trying to get my son to sleep but he simply wouldn't go to bed. I did my usual scare tactic of with the cane. He sat on the floor, but instead of being fearful, he looked to the right, shrugged his shoulders and started giggling. Then he got out and started running circles around the house for hours, non-stop. laughing and calling out to something in the room. I was at a loss of how I should react. I didn't want to hit him and something about this incident chilled me to the bone. I just watched him, hoping it will end soon. At 5am he just went to bed and fell asleep on his own. Next morning my friend brought me to the temple to get an amulet to help with protecting the house. Thankfully, that worked and my son didn't act the same way any more. When I told my brother about this incident, he said he already saw "that thing" when he first helped me move in. But my brother also said that "that thing" is not the harmful or vengeful kind, and will be the one protecting me at home. Confession by Nil P
My story happened when my then-girlfriend (now wife) moved into her new apartment in Novena. The condo was in a quiet lane just next to the Thompson flyover. In the 5-6 years that we lived there, that entire area seemed to be a hotbed of activity. There were loads of bad accidents on the main road (Thomson road) after the Keng Lee road bend, right at a particular spot; the security guards would tell me that they would see shadows late at night. One even claimed that he heard his name being whispered into his ear as he slept in the gym. In the same lane, there was another condo being built and one random morning, we saw the property developer burning joss sticks. I was curious and asked my security guard if he knew why they were doing that and he told me that some of the workers had seen a spirit roaming about. The road adjacent to mine (Keng Lee Road) was creepy. Next to a huge canal, dark at night and of course, a couple of hundred metres away from KK and the old Tan Tock Seng Hospital . I remember taking late evening walks and wondering why there were so many churches, temples and random standalone shrines in the area. I, of course, had heard all the stories about Novena in the 80s and how people saw spirits in the MRT etc. Back to the apartment. My wife is very sensitive to her surroundings. Not long after she moved in, she kept telling me how uneasy she felt, like there was "someone else in the room". Although I'm a believer in the spirit world, I didn't think much of it. Over time though, I felt the air around the house get heavier, almost smoky. The first major incident happened when her mom came to stay with her for a couple of days. One afternoon, she was in her living room and she suddenly felt a force pinning her down, sucking the life out of her. After 2 minutes, it just stopped. Then there were the small things, the DVD player turning on by itself etc. Then she started complaining of nightmares. One night, we were both asleep and she woke up with a fright saying that she had a weird dream that ended with a scream as if it was coming from the room. I calmed her down but never told her that I had the same dream and heard the same scream (until a few years later). Moving out wasn't an option financially so we knew we needed to get help. We went to an Indian priest who confirmed that the house had a demonic presence. He told us to come back a week later. That night, after seeing the priest, we just didn't want to go home. We sat outside the Starbucks at United Square and just procrastinated. And when we finally did, we opened the front door, turned on the lights and all of a sudden, there was a loud explosion-like sound the house went dark. Almost like it knew where we had been. Of course, being the man, I had to summon all of my courage to go to the fuse box, which was located deep in the pantry, and play around with the fuse box. Finally, we went back to the priest and he gave us a small tub of white cream (the type a doctor would give you for a rash). He told us to smear it over every wall, window and door. The next morning we did and when we were done, I kid you not, we just felt a heavy presence being lifted. It was over. Until 2 years later. We repainted the apartment and of course, painted over the areas where we had dabbed the cream. That night, we both had the same nightmare again. After a scolding from the priest, we went through the same routine and all was ok. We sold the house 2 years later. Reported by Geraldine Laetitia, Supernatural Confessions Correspondent
Many of us will give anything to have their own dream villa that overlooks the sea. One such villa offers exactly that and that would be none other than the infamous Villa Nabila in Johor, Malaysia. Villa Nabila is located on a hill in Johor Malaysia overlooking the Danga Bay. However, this villa history is a mystery and no one knows what exactly happened here and who had built it or had owned it. All the mysteries and questions surrounding the villa gives it a natural air of mystics that perplex even the historian today. It was also documented that Villa Nabila was first known as Christine Palace. But who owned this mansion and what happened to him remains unknown. It was even rumoured that a wealthy Caucasian family once lived there. With so many unanswered questions, many myths and conjectures were made and created which only add on to the enigma of Villa Nabila. Perhaps, what deepens all the awe and mystic around this massive building will be the nature of its structure iself. The villa is a unique blend of architectural styles and grandeur. You can almost imagine how grand and luxury it once had been. The front of the villa is dominated by a porte-cochère held aloft by Roman-Tuscan pillars that have been heavily bleached by coastal winds. The mansion stands on stilts, that is very commonly so for houses built during its time. Looking at the house in its entirety, its grand structure stood in a manner reminiscent of traditional rumah panggung. Today, it stands run-down, depilated, derelict and covered with overgrown foliage and mould from the decades of neglect and abandonment for more than 40 years now. To the rear of the villa, it is built comprising tropical wooden slats showing off a high pitched roof of European influence, which remains largely intact. You can still see this through the dense foliage as far as 3 miles out of Johor Bahru, along the Iskandar Coastal Highway. With the dilapidated façade, it is no wonder, it gives the place a very eerie atmosphere especially so at dusk and during the night. There is no street lap anywhere close by, so it sits alone, sole in the darkness as dark falls. Villa Nabila's reputation as a haunted location has since been widely circulated, and has even been listed in Expedia, an US travel portal, as one of the scariest locations in Malaysia. There are several versions of the story that attempt to explain the history of Villa Nabila and the reason behind its current state of neglect, abandonment and dilapidated conditions. Obviously, there are also stories that give the villa its reputation of being a haunted house. Some says that a jealous maid took the lives of a wealthy family that once lived in the villa in order to inherit their heirloom. Their bodies were buried somewhere in the compound but were never found. Among these stories, the most commonly circulated story is that the villa was originally owned by a wealthy family. The family had named the villa after their one and only daughter named Nabila. Nabila’s parents passed away tragically and they left all their belongings and wealth to Nabila. Their only maid wanted all the fortune and driven by greed, murdered Nabila and had her body cemented into the walls of the villa. Another version has the maid killed the whole family including Nabila and have all the bodies buried in the land the villa stands on. Yet another tale is that two hit men who were hired by a relative because of greed killed the family. The tragic tale also include one where the family home was robbed and criminals killed all the residents. However, Nabila was raped before she was killed and her body was cemented into the house wall. There is another version of the story, supposedly when Nabila's father shot all the villagers, before killing himself. Another version says Nabila's stepmother was angry and jealous, because the girl inherits her father's legacy. The stepmother then allegedly killed Nabila and buried her on the wall before fleeing with the fortune. It is not possible to ascertain which version of the story is correct but as it has been abandoned for so many years now. One of the most recent famous and mysterious incident took place at Villa Nabila in November 2013. Although the incident only lasted three days but the short period had left many residents, including the authorities baffled and shocked. Among the nasty beliefs about Villa Nabila is that the visitors entering the house must be in even numbers and of good health. If the number of visitors is odd, then there will be spirits or entities that may attach themselves as the visitors leave the villa. Late at night on the fateful night of 16 November 2013, a group of 23 teenagers decided to be daring and enter the villa. Unexpectedly, their actions into the scary location turned out to be an adventure that shocked the country. Shortly after the group of teenagers entered the villa, the social media began spreading the story that of 23 alleged teenagers mysteriously missing at Villa Nabila. The spread of social media news has left many confused and curious about what actually happened to them. Are they lost to another world or are they lost in the villainous response to the mystical villains who inhabit Villa Nabila? Following on from the social media reports, several journalists tried to track the validity of the allegations. One of the local newspaper journalist managed to find one of the teenager involved in the incident and by account, as it turned out that the story he had to tell was one that is nerve wrecking and shocking. The story goes that on that fateful night, the group of 23 youth met up to explore the villa. As they entered the villa and began to explore the mansion, they felt cold and very eerie. The place was in total darkness, which made it very difficult to see. So, each of them took out their mobile and began to use the torchlight on their mobile to illuminate their surroundings. Apparently, they were walking through the mansion quietly and carefully, looking into each area and rooms as they walked pass. As they entered the second floor, one of the teenagers suddenly saw children running in front of her. At the same time, another in the group suddenly screamed and collapsed on the floor and became hysterical. It was at this point, where the group decided that they needed to leave immediate for fear of their own safety. They then took the girl to the Ayer Molek Mosque and were fortunate to heal the victim in rituals and rites to exorcise the entity that had attached itself to the girl. The teenager, however, said he did not think any of the teenagers in the group had disappeared as they had split up in the chaos as they rush the troubled girl to the Mosque. Some went straight home and others left the group. Meanwhile, police have denied the social media allegations that 23 teenagers have gone missing in the bungalow, but investigations have found that only a 16-year-old boy, Mohamad Izzat Izzudin Hussin, was missing according to reports made by the victim's mother, Norhayati Mohamad. After a few days of intense manhunt, speculations of the haunting at the villa, and mystery surrounding the missing teenager, finally, on 19 November, after about three days of traumatic events in the country, the mysterious disappearance of the teenager was finally solved. The teenager was found in the Fletcher Pearl Village in Bandar Dato’ Onn di Tebrau instead his parents’ knowledge. Again a version says that he dare not go home pass his curfew, so instead had gone to his girlfriend’s place to stay for a few days. Another report says that according to Norhayati Mohamad, her son had forgotten the way home. The teenage just roamed about aimlessly and lost and had felt something or someone been leading to a final location. Halfway through his journey, a man offered to help the lost boy by inviting him to his house. Norhayati also mentioned that their family will be taking Mohamad Izzat for some traditional healing. Although Izzat’s misadventure prove to be not work of the paranormal or supernatural, the house remains an attraction for horror and thrill seekers. All the mystery and the missing teenagers episode, the house has attracted many attention including two independent filmmakers, Daniel Martin and Rosalli Azrin and it is no surprise that they chose Villa Nabila as the subject of their documentary. In the documentary, Daniel and Rosalli also interviewed construction workers who were tasked to tear down Villa Nabila. Through the workers, it is learned that they too experienced strange encounters at the empty villa. So much so that the project to tear down the villa was never completed, and it has come to a halt as of the latest report. Perhaps, there was more to the story of Izzat? Was there more to what really happened to Izzat when he entered Villa Nabila? After the document was made, another film director, Syafiq, decided to use all the information gathered and made an experimental movie about Villa Nabila. The movie was shot on site for 2 weeks. Syafiq didn’t experience any paranormal incidents on location, but he mentioned that some of his cast members crew had reported strange things happening to them. There were also quite a few car accidents that had been reported to occur close to where the house is, but there are no true evident linking them to the house. So, is Villa Nabila really hiding a dark secret waiting to be uncovered? Could it be the spirit of “Nabila”, who was rumoured to have been cemented into the wall of the villa, be preventing the demolishment of the villa? Are there still spirits of the rumoured deceased still roaming the land and the villa, unrested or waiting for revenge? More and more questions and mysteries continues to surround the lone, empty villa on the hill. Would you be brave enough to venture into the night, explore the villa to uncover the truth? * Photos from : https://uppercruster.wordpress.com/ |
